FillTrack Privacy

Last updated: 2 June 2026. This page describes how the FillTrack local-first vehicle logbook stores and handles data.

Local-first storage

FillTrack stores vehicle profiles, fuel fills, trips, services, tyres, maintenance, expenses, range inputs, settings, photos, attachments, import/export records, and backup data locally on the device using browser storage or app storage.

No accounts or cloud sync

FillTrack does not currently use accounts, cloud sync, analytics, advertising, subscriptions, or payments. Features such as push notifications, widgets, OCR, and receipt scanning are not part of the current release.

Backups and exports

JSON backups and CSV exports are files created when the user chooses to download them. The user controls where those files are stored, shared, transferred, or deleted. Exported files are saved to your device and are not encrypted by FillTrack after download, so keep backups somewhere private and secure.

Photos and attachments

Photos and attachments remain local unless the user exports, shares, backs up, or transfers them. JSON backups may include stored attachments.

Clearing app data

Clearing browser storage, site data, or app data may remove saved FillTrack records. Export a JSON backup before clearing data or changing devices.
