Privacy Policy

Last updated: 23 August 2026. This policy explains how ABV Tuner handles information on iPhone and Android.

Who provides ABV Tuner

ABV Tuner is published by FillTrack Pty Ltd, ABN 39 699 077 855 and ACN 699 077 855.

Application data

ABV Tuner stores calculation inputs, saved whiskies, optional Saved Whiskey photos, ABV Profiles, tasting notes and scores, tasting and preparation history, dropper calibrations and preferences in the app's private storage on your device. When you choose a Saved Whiskey photo, ABV Tuner creates an orientation-corrected, metadata-free, downsampled copy for that private storage. This application data remains on your device and is not transmitted to FillTrack Pty Ltd.

ABV Tuner does not use accounts, advertising, analytics, tracking, cloud sync or external APIs for its core features.

Store transactions

ABV Tuner Pro is offered as a lifetime in-app purchase. On Android, Google Play Billing communicates with Google Play to present the purchase, process the transaction and determine the current Pro entitlement. On iPhone, Apple's App Store infrastructure performs the equivalent purchase and entitlement functions. ABV Tuner uses the platform-provided purchase status only to unlock Pro. FillTrack Pty Ltd does not receive payment-card details or store account identity through ABV Tuner.

Permissions and platform security

On iPhone, ABV Tuner uses Apple's system Photo Library picker and receives only the item you select; it does not request broad Photo Library access or camera access. On Android, the app offers system Camera and Photo gallery flows without requesting camera or broad photo/storage permission. Both versions create an orientation-corrected, downsampled copy without source metadata and keep it in app-private local storage. ABV Tuner does not request contacts, location, microphone or notification access. iPhone app-managed photo copies are excluded from device backup, while Android backup and device transfer are disabled for ABV Tuner data. ABV Tuner does not provide cloud sync or cross-device photo recovery.

Deleting local information

You can replace or remove a Saved Whiskey photo, and deleting a Saved Whiskey also removes its app-managed photo after the record deletion succeeds. You can delete saved whiskies, profiles, tasting history and dropper calibrations within ABV Tuner where the app provides that option. You can remove other local information by uninstalling the app. Removing local information does not affect an App Store or Google Play purchase entitlement, which remains managed by the relevant platform.

Support enquiries

If you contact us for support, we receive only the information you choose to provide. We use it to respond to your enquiry and may retain it as reasonably necessary for support, security, legal or record-keeping purposes.

Children's privacy

ABV Tuner is intended for adults of legal drinking age. It does not knowingly collect personal information from children or other users.

Changes to this policy

If ABV Tuner's data practices change, this policy and the relevant Apple App Store or Google Play privacy disclosures will be updated before those changes are released.
